Outlining: I. The internet has numerous dizzying options available to the reader. (Sehgal, 2016). a. Due to the numerous options available for learning and reading our brains have accustomed to (Sehgal, 2016). d. Reading books leads to better comprehension as there is better transfer to the long-term memory. The richness of the brain is measured by the ability to summon long-term memory (Sehgal, 2016). III. A more substantial US population believes the internet is making them dumber (Weinberger, 2016). Also, A study by UCLA in 2008 indicates that web surfing heightens activity as well as engaging brain functions and therefore keeping people sharp (Sehgal, 2016). I support his view especially on the distraction as well as limiting our long-term memory due to the explosion of a lot of information available over the internet.
