A US holy war? The effects of religion on Iraq war policy attitudes. Social Science Quarterly  90(1) 103-116. The authors of this article Froese and Mencken argue that Baylor religion survey used as a measure while estimating the effect of religious support for the US policy throughout the course of the Iraq War highlights a substantial support of the neoconservative and the liberal citizens in the religious framing of the US foreign policy. The authors argue that they found evidence pointing to the adoption of what they term as Sacralization ideology in the framing of Iraq Policy. There is belief that the framing of which comprise of a political ideology with the sole agenda of global conquest should be dealt with appropriately.
