For its turquoise waters, kaleidoscopic and abundant life, the reef has over the years gained global reputation due to its ever growing beauty. It is blessed with the breath taking beauty of the world’s largest coral reef and is one of Australia’s most remarkable natural gifts and a prized World Heritage Area. Foreigners and even citizens visiting the reef tend to enjoy many experiences including snorkeling, scuba diving bare boats among other fascinating activities when visiting the coast of Queensland. (Great Barrier Reef 2018) ISSUES FACING THE GREAT BARRIER REEF As we all know the Great Barrier Reef is home to a treasure and variety of plant and animal species, many of them as yet unknown to science and unidentified.

Holding pollutants accountable and putting in place policies that will bring dire consequences to any pollutants This goals aim at implementing new farm practices which cut pollution, these goals in turn benefits the farm business and thus a win win situation Objectives were also put in place to help solve the matter of pollution and water decline 1. Specific; To ensure that the problem of pollution and decline specifically from farms and agricultural land is rectified 2. Measurable; To ensure that the runoff which is water moving on the surface of the ground is moved from the farms without chemicals or harmful products that could cause a destruction to the reef 3.
