Modern Challenges of Religions

Christianity has always been associated to provide moral code and ethical codes which guide individuals through a particular way. In terms of the Ten Commandments, it stated that an individual should always love her neighbors (Nelson 2015). Christianity plays a vital role towards conflicts in the modern day. In accordance with the guardian (2013), religion was observed to have caused conflicts between members of the family and even countries. Marriage between two religions which might include Islam and Christianity has often been viewed to end up in fights between family members due to differences. In some religions, wearing of saffron robes and hijabs which might act as a hiding towards the identity of criminals. There are incidents where criminals posed themselves to be Muslims so they would not conceal their identities (Matsui n.

d). In certain constitutions, there are certain laws which have been forced to be eliminated due to the religion characteristics. Thus, it has forced the government to place measures which might not have any beneficial effect on all individuals (Matsui n. Christianity and other forms of religions offer spiritual guidance towards solving certain problems (Matsui n. d). Religions offer as counseling centers where individuals might attend and discuss their problems. In accordance to Matsui (n. d), churches roles in the modern society are to convince on the right paths to follow. In the past centuries, the role of women was only to take care of his husband at home. Nowadays, women have a say when it comes to church matters. They can now become church ministers, deans, and even secretaries through which they get to organize church events (Lusted 2011).
