In its definition, critical thinking can be defined as thinking that is based on four elements. These include open-mindedness, logical thinking, and reasonability. When thinking as a group, an element of being collaborative is also required so that those that are making decisions should welcome each others decision. Importance of Using Critical Thinking According to Forawi (2016), critical thinking is very important and there is no restriction to the use of critical thinking since each and every career requires critical thinking. One of the advantages of critical thinking is that it creates awareness on the different approaches that one can use in solving problems. One is able to identify other approaches other than the standard method of problem solving.
