Medication Errors Essay

These errors exist despite the fact that nurses are usually trained to ensure that patients are given the right medication. Some nurses usually fail to report the errors while others fail to report the errors. According to the codes of ethics, nurses are required to report the errors to the physicians and monitor patients for adverse reactions that may occur due to the errors. Once the error has been reported, an incidence report should be prepared and used in the facility for education of medical practitioners to avoid the occurrence of such errors in future.
