Document Preview:

Industrial growth in America began in the early 1800s but the growth was slow and steady. It was not until after the American Civil war that the American industry changed drastically. Machines were preferred to do work that was previously done by hand railway roads spread and labor unions developed among other thing. This Industrial change was the beginning of a long journey for American society and it affected the various groups and workers differently as they were adapting to the change. The major aspects of Industrialization were: Political. The American natives lost their homes and the workers had to fight for their rights for a long time. However were it not for this kind of changes America would not be a great nation as it is now.
