As a result of this, our lives have been shadowed with the lack of proper values, morals, and aspirations thought would guide us in leadership. This paper, therefore, seeks to tie the threats running throughout leadership and development to appeal to reason and logic in regards to the influence of law, morals, ethics, and religious beliefs on leadership. Laws, Morals, Ethics, and Religious Beliefs Influence on People’s Behavior Some of the famous leaders that include Bill Gates, Warren Buffet, and Richard Branson not only operate successful companies but are considered as the most accomplished individuals who have employed effective leadership and development skills to achieve their goals. In as much as these leaders employ different approaches in leading, their success can be viewed in their abidance to the laws, morals, ethics, and religious beliefs of the land (Reilly, 2008).

In this regard, it is essential to assume that the values of any given society are alienated from laws morals, ethics and religious believes that reflect the true meaning of values. Naturally, people engage in lies, thefts, and cheating even though they are fully aware that such actions are wrong in accordance with the societal norms. Embarrassments, guilt, pride, and shame are considered as the members of self-conscious emotions evoked by self-evaluation and reflection (Kaveny, 2016). Moral-consciousness provides punishment or reinforces behaviors that are immorally justified, with the effects of this resulting in guild, embarrassment, shame, and pride that give salient feedback on our moral and social acceptability. In most cases, when I commit a sin that is against the morals of my culture, aversive feelings of guilt, shame, and embarrassment ensue, while feelings of the self-approval result when I do the right things.

This explains the influence of morals on people's behavior. In my case, the tenets laid down in the Bible, with unique inference to the Ten Commandments provide moral and ethical frameworks that I need to abide by to achieve goodness and behave well. Similarities between Laws, Morals, Ethics, and Religious Beliefs The word moral is a Latin word mos that means customs and mores, the plural word for customs (Kunzman, 2003). Morals according to research findings determine the manner in which groups and individuals are pulled together to determine their ethicality on giving matters. Ethics, on the other hand, is an intellectual delusion of morals that help individuals in determining the rights from the wrongs. In as much as it is believed that ethical analysis leads to answers as to factors that are considered as right or wrong in a moral perspective, then this codifies the intrinsic nature of law.
