This is a simple process that was completed in a few minutes. The sign-up process included a terms and conditions agreement that Nancy is studied and agreed to before she could complete the sign-up process (O'Brien and Marakas 24). Once complete, she selected a suitable package for the salon and paid for a subscription to the package. Information management takes place under various defined steps. However, before management processes are introduced, data has to be present. Nancy’s Salon will collect the customer’s name, email address, gender, age, and phone number. This data will be stored in the system’s database and retrieved whenever customers want to schedule appointments or make payments for services. The system will also collect employee profiles and login details to enable them to access the system to manage their accounts.

Availability as the final aspect refers to the dependable access of information when accessed by a user. In the case of Nancy’s Salon, all employees are allowed to access the system. This can dilute the confidence of the information stored as employees are allowed to edit the information freely. In this case, Nancy, as the owner of the salon can retain overall management of the system. She can coordinate her employee's time schedules and take the lead on scheduling appointments for customers. They also ensure parties can take the correct action in the event they are faced with a decision. Works Cited Bourgeois, T.
