CORRELATION ANALYSIS FOR AGE AND BODY MASS INDEX Student Name Institution of Affiliation Date CORRELATION ANALYSIS FOR AGE AND BODY MASS INDEX Description of the case study Research has shown a close relationship between an individual’s age and their health status. Similarly recent studies have indicated a close relationship between individuals Body Mass Index (BMI) and their state of health. A researcher at New Lab & Allied is interested in understanding the relationship further and has randomly sampled 50 respondents (n = 50) for the study. Most journals in New Lab’s library have majored on either the relationship between age and health status or the BMI and health status of an individual. In the current study the researcher is interested in establishing the correlation between an individual’s age and their BMI. The data captured for use in the study is is therefore rejected and the null hypothesis accepted. References Puth M-T. Neuhauser M. & Ruxton G. D. (2014).
