Name Institution LecturerDate Does God Exist? Questions about the existence of God have been heavily debated upon by several individuals and scientists over several centuries. The issue of the existence of is a reminder of Thomas in the Bible who had difficulty in believing that Jesus was indeed alive till he met him and touched his scars. It is the very same analogy that people have in explaining the idea of the existence of God. However the proof for the existence of the supernatural being needs a personal faith to create a belief that there is God. However for those dealing with evidence there is concrete evidence that indeed God exists. In addition to believe that God exists one has to take a critical look at the following; first one should take a good look at the things surrounding him. When one takes a look at the world one the mind of God. The connection to everything that happens in the world is all but fate and it is the very cause when it is applied to this world. Thus accepting the fact that fortune plays a great role with the fact that it is the nice thing for everybody then for Boethius is a difficult concept. The Consolation of Philosophy is therefore a book that salvages happiness on the theological proof that God exists by also looking at the necessity of evil (Elizabeth Hayes Smith np).
