Name Instructor Course Date The Class Music Band History of the Band The Class is a highly energetic band which performs and offers entertainment on live events particularly for parties and upscale weddings. It is based in San Diego California and has been operating as a group for over ten years (the Class band website). The formation of the band was inspired by a group of musicians who aspired to play songs that they loved. It therefore started with the selection of songs. Within the first couple of years they had rules with which their songs had to abide: they (the musicians) had to love the song and everyone else where they performed had to know it. The band’s staple songs included hits such as Sweet Caroline Satisfaction Mary Jane’s Last Dance Billie Jean and My Girl. These were songs the founding band members loved and still love (the class expected. They cover the event in its entirety (from the ceremony to the reception to the after party). Among the group are four very talented members who can offer sufficient amounts of presence in the least; perfect enough to entertain and engage the guests but also staying back enough to allow the very guests to enjoy each other’s presence. This band is soulful but polished fun but not too cheesy. The Class is the wedding and party band that in no way feels like one. They are super marvelous in articulating their capabilities to meet the expectations of everyone. Their jazzy tunes have been particularly lauded by the majority of clientele who opt for the backyard outdoor venues keeping the party going in a chilled-out non-cheesy way. It is hardly regrettable!
