Institution Instructor Course Date Self-Assessment on Volkswagen Group Activity Introduction Every time I look back at where we came from in our group activity all I can see is a journey with ups and downs but decked with silver hedges. It was my first time to discuss and engage with such a big company as Volkswagen. While we began the Volkswagen activity as novices we ended it as experts having learned a lot about its leadership brand management power structure and success strategies in sales and human resource team management. Midway we learned about much that we didn’t know including our weaknesses in offering support systems for teamwork and of our strengths including cooperating with other people. Group experience As a group we were to explore the leadership and success strategies for Volkswagen the automobile industry. We were a team of seven members and tasked with one common duty effectiveness. Volkswagen was a green field of research for my group and I but we were able to find out what it management style looks like and the benefits of its management style. As Kolb notes for one to learn and do something they have to experience it first reflect on what they have experienced attempt to conceptualize and put the new knowledge to a test. Order Description:
A 1500 word reflection on my experience of the Volkswagen group activity. This should include a review of both my effectiveness as a group and the effectiveness of the group as a whole. A Theory of reflective practice such as Kolbs learning cycle should be used. The emphasis should be on a critical evaluation not on self promotion. Try to identify strengths and weaknesses and areas for personal development do you think you are able to do it?
