Name Instructor Course Date Net Neutrality The internet's guiding principle is referred to as Net Neutrality. It preserves peoples' rights to freely communicate online. This is an internet that protects and permits independent communication. This means that internet service providers should provide individuals with networks that can be accessed openly. No content or application that rides over those networks should be discriminated against or blocked. Internet service providers should not tamper with the content you are viewing or posting online. Cable and phone firms could be sculpturing the internet into swift and steady lanes in case net neutrality wasn't in implementation. Competitors’ content or political opinions which the internet service provider is disagreeing with could be slowed down or even blocked. Internet service providers could have argues that interests of small and medium enterprises proceeding to be susceptible to varied taxes are completely brushed by FCC. This does not create any competition in the market as a result. In conclusion net neutrality is the principal to a fair competitive environment and freedom on the internet.
