Name Instructor Course Date Jazz Music History Duke Ellington Duke Ellington who born in 1899 29th April in Washington DC. He was a bandleader a pianist and also a composer all of which propelled him to becoming and an instrumental figure in jazz music history for more than 50 years. During this period Duke Ellington managed to compose thousands of songs and he also came up with the ensemble sounds which helped him in playing what he termed as the “American Music” (Korall 347).
