The planning of flow of work influences those associated with the final output. The various rewards such as being promoted to a challenging position and increasing the amount of compensation are closely linked with organizational structure. Effective application of organizational structure impacts organizational behavior by encouraging positive work environment. This is because it is associated with participative decision making fair rewarding of employees, and sensitivity to worker’s needs which in turn improve morale hence better performance. Ineffective application of organizational structure on the other hand is associated with such things as concentrating decision making at the top and this reduces morale of other staff members reduces because they feel they are not part of such decisions. Providing feedback to employees about their progress helps them trust their bosses, build their morale and contribute to higher performance.
