Goldman claims, anarchism aids human beings to have conscious and therefore, the State, God and also the society’s promises are non-existed. The promises can only be fulfilled through an individual’s subordination who plays a leading role in ensuring the norms of the society are preserved. Capitalism penetration across America has destroyed the traditional practices of individualism. Goldman states, politicians and socialist have manipulated the nation and only few people have accumulated wealth and not as a result of individualism. She stated through “cravenness, inertia, and compliance of the mass. ” Goldman deploys a serious tone throughout the two chapters and further criticizes the Americans of giving in to the ideas of the corrupt. The process is ideal since workers will have an option of managing and also owning their workplaces. She proposes for an ideal America with political leaders and also socialists who adhere to the ideas formulated by forefathers who fought for independence. She points out on the pain the workers endure “destroying quality. ” The employees used to work hard and quality was given the first priority but incompetent automation, brainless valueless to themselves as well as injurious to mankind have taken control.
