Two Stage Sisters Essay

Marchetti addresses the issue of women in hardship and suffering. In the film, women are exposed and used for sexual purposes. I strongly confer with this assertion as from the film it is clearly evident and portrayed. In addition, the cast of the film is full of sexual scenes that confirm this argument. The film casts the women being readily available for men for sex. I agree with this argument because the issue of women powerlessness has been clearly brought out and more importantly, Marchetti has clearly elaborated in the script of the play. In addition, Marchetti also highlights the political struggles that ensued between the Communists and the Nationalists, which are metaphorically represented. Marchetti argue that the war was intense (589).
