Anaemia also results due to the decrease in the ability of the blood to transport oxygen (Tripathi & Pradhan, 2015). The main component of the blood associated with oxygen transportation is known as hemoglobin. There are several forms of anemia. Hemorrhagic anemia results because of massive damage to red blood cells due to bleeding. Aplastic anemia occurs due to low production of red blood cells by the bone marrow.
