In some countries such the United States legalisation of abortion has undergone through twists of regime policies some supporting its legalisation and objecting to the legalisation i. e. the Donald Trump’s current government. The legality of abortion has faced both criticism as well as support in today’s world. Abortion is a sensitive area of focus affecting mostly the female gender and I fully support the legalisation of abortion having assessed and analysed this issue in depths. Psychological and health effects of abortion on women are the most sensitive aspect in the modern society that strengthens the debate for non-legalisation. Women who undergo abortion are likely to experience psychological traumas especially the first timers as they that act is considered inhuman and a termination of life.

It may lead to depression in life as the moments are likely to haunt them in later days in their lives. Health wise, future pregnancies may experience complications such as miscarriages leading to further frustrations and regrets in life as the situation can never be reversed. According to studies, 2. Illegalising abortion forces women to seek unlawful methods of abortion that are a danger to their life (Hoggart, 372). Woman are the most important beings when it comes to matters of parenthood and are the only ones who know how they feel and want and their issues better much better than law makers, public opinion or judges. On the issue about of abortion, personally I support its legalisation as I believe it’s for the better but we have various forces opposing its legalisation with the view that it’s immoral.
