Just as it is seen to be a platform for connections, social media has been significantly seen to be a major cause of social relationships breakups and a destroyer of moral values. Apparently, Facebook has been viewed as the greatest contributor of social relationship problems than any other social media platform. In the recent past, research that was conducted shows that many social relationships have been scrambled and torn apart as people substitute real-life relationships with online connections. Besides the social media platform such as Facebook and Twitter offering people with instant attention and audience, they have also taken a larger percentage of our attention. Additionally, research has further shown that a number of individuals using these platforms can spend the whole day online, making them neglect their social duties and responsibilities.
