This has forced the original brand to work harder to protect her reputation hence the market. Counterfeit refers to the imitation of a genuine product to with a similar product closely resembling the original so as to deceive the potential users. The counterfeit products bear with them a counterfeit trademark identical to the genuine trademark. This confuses the potential buyers with the genuine goods. This proposal looks into variables rise and intention to buy counterfeit outcome of purchase of counterfeit luxury brand and the connected emotional outcome of purchases of counterfeit luxury brand. Literature review The researchers looked at the intentions of customers to buy a variety of products (Kibler 2012 p. 54). They considered psychological believes of buyers attitude pertaining counterfeit their readiness to risk alternative revealed the relationship between the two.
