Resistance to change in the health sector can on a broader scale be accrued to political interference. Although practitioners and other individuals accrued to the healthcare industry are pro-change, their efforts are met by a lot of resistance from political leaders (Patel & Rushefsky, 2014). This issue has led to the failure of reforms incorporated due to the high level of resistance that they have to deal with in this area.
