Influences of Personality Development

Children are largely influenced by the actions of their parents since they look up for them for guidance. A child will feel offended if his/her mother is humiliated in public. This is because they feel that their parents are not capable of making any mistake. There are many factors that influence personal development but there are some that seem important than seem important than the others. The most important influences on personality development are biological factors, cultural effects on personality, and family factors on personality development. An ideal society also has a pool of shared knowledge, a structured way of thinking, desired goals, and attitudes. These factors influence an individual right from childhood to adulthood. Cultures regulate peoples’ lives hence influencing an individual’s personality development.
