Student’s Name Professor’s Name Course Title Date Reaction to Louis Kahn’s ‘Monumentality’ The text entirely dwelt on Louis Kahn’s text-monumentality- which I find intriguing in all aspects. As a supervisor architect Kahn did a lot of design works which have become enthralling to the modern day art critics even though the works he did could be classified as medieval. In his career he worked hand in hand with George Howe but when Howe went to Washington Louis became a supervisor in several companies. He also worked with Oscar Stonorov to design several architectural pieces of art (McLean p.5). But who exactly is Louis Kahn? How about the art Louis was distinct and unique in both personality and ideology (Walter 125). He never cast himself as a superman neither did he think of himself as a conduit joining mankind to nature. In my own opinion quality dictated much of what Loui wrote in the work-monumentality.
