From the records, in the year 2015 approximately 1. 2 million refuges migrated in Europe, this was considered to be the largest number ever recorded in that time. In comparison to the year 2017, the number has greatly reduced. For example, according to Rachel Rizzo (2017) in her article titled, Europe’s Migration Crisis is anything but over, stipulates very clearly that the current number of the refugees coming to Europe stands at 171,000 sea arrivals. This actually proves that indeed the rate of migration level has greatly reduced as compared to the year 2015. In general conclusion, the above argumentative discussion has presented a clear comparison of the European Migration crisis beginning in the year 2015 to presented. From the records it is evident that the rate at which people were migrating to European Union has greatly reduced and this is due to the effective intervention that the Union has put in place to control the disaster for example, offering asylum, full international protection and also carrying operation in the Mediterranean sea to help the victims of migrations in going back to their country, this has helped in preventing a number of accidents in the sea that used to happen.
