Consequently, prior to writing the actual paper it is essential to carry out an annotated bibliography for the chosen sources. The aim of the annotation is to assess the credibility of the sources in terms of author’s arguments, ideas, and publication details, key terms, qualifications and why that particular source is valid for the research. The research topic for this paper is the effects of technology on interpersonal communication. This paper is an annotation of academic articles on the above research topic. In addition, it is objective since it uses different data collection methods such as survey instruments, and interviews among others. It is relevant since it targets the population of young students similar to the thesis.

However, it points out that there are negative effects of the digital devices that can never be neglected. For instance, it lead to unethical and indecent behaviors among the teenagers like the exchange of pornographic content.
