Crisis management Essay

A crisis is a time of intense danger or difficulty. It is also a time when one is forced to make a significant or difficult decision. I remember a time when I acted as a leader in a crisis, and this is one of the most challenging moments in my life since I was under pressure and I was supposed to make a difficult situation. There was a situation of chronic insecurity in our society whereby by people were being butchered. This was a difficult moment in the community as the number of deaths increased each day, and it was time for a solution to be arrived at to prevent more deaths. We worked as a team to handle the crisis, and it was easy to deal with risks since we had assessed the risks involved and we managed to prose a solution to both sides thus handling the situation.

Before response After assessing the risks involved, it was high time to determine the solution of the conflict that had ignited the conflict. For example, in this scenario, I had to come up with possible solutions to the problem, and this could help in dealing with the conflict and prevent killings that were witnessed. Before responding to the problem, it is essential to determine the needs of the people involved in the conflict what can be done to suit the interests of the two group since that is the best way to settle the dispute (Williams et al. Therefore, I determined the root of the conflict through which I was able to come up with a solution which was to divide the piece of land equally among the two conflicting groups.
