Causes and Effects of the American Revolution

This paper will demonstrate events which happened during American Revolution, and explain the development of nationalism and finally, it will explain impact of industrialization in the last two centuries. Causes and Effects of the American Revolution After the war which involved France and India, Britain felt the urge to possess money. The only solution the Britain government came up with was to tax American colonists since they were protected during the war. The colonists ended up with no way to escape the tax since they had to pay tax stamps so that they could acquire printed materials. Due to this reason, there was a rise of rebellion which was led by Samuel Adams who ended up forming a liberty to protest.

In the meeting it was voted any trade activity with Britain was to stop until the Act was repealed and also the colonists were to be trained to fight. Development of Nationalism Nationalism is a sense of call to individuals to recognize the interest of their country as a group and to aid in the creation of a state to protect these interests. In the 19th-century, nationalism spread throughout the European continent, which led to various transformations of its countries. Countries like Italy and Germany came into existence due to the fact that various regional states which felt they shared similar interest united (Brinkley, 2015). The existence of racial and linguistic groups all over Europe which struggled to understand one another stated to feel the urge a national identity, which could control the politics which was rising in the country and other major factors like xenophobia which were also rising.

Industrialization in these centuries enabled the percentage of children to live past infancy which resulted in a large workforce. This became possible because at major boarders keen attention was placed which led to less spread of diseases which resulted in ending some epidemics which existed in that period. The production of food increased rapidly in Agricultural companies with less use of labor force. This forced many employees to start working in cottage industries like weaving and new factories which were established.
