This report presents a discussion about the politics in the 1800s in the United States. The report will also discuss the political implications and developments in the United States during the reign of Jefferson and Madison. As such, the paper content creates an understanding of the reason for war declaration on Great Britain during the 1812 and its outcome on the nation, the United States. A significant point of focus is the political events during the reign of Jefferson that resulted in Republicans gaining political power leading to Jefferson to refer election as a revolution. While he was in control of administration in the United States, Jefferson was an organizer and implementer of many changes mainly on political matters. As a result, Jefferson declared Great Britain war which was the initial political step for Jefferson to undertake with the aim of reclaiming the rights of Americans to smoothly trade in France3.

Jefferson started the with the aim of promoting the business between France and the Americans. Consequently, the Great Britain war was marked with many killing but led to the fruitful emergence of the United States over the British. The war series with British is an illustration of dirty political activities that are aimed at producing positive results. For example, the battles between Jefferson and Federalist Adams. Politicians are dynamic practicing both the clean and dirty politics at a go to achieve different interests. It is therefore essential for citizens of the United States to get together and work towards a common agenda of transforming the United States to greatness regardless of political party affiliations.
