The strong cultural identity is pertinent to the Spanish language amongst the children. Further, it creates cultural awareness to individuals since the transmission of language (Spanish) and culture are tied together. Therefore, it focuses on the roots and the cultural identity of individuals that facilitates the development and maintenance of the language.
