The pollution was majorly caused by producers of outdoor goods. Incase the site become at a stalemate then it would have qualified for Superfund in which EPA would be directly incorporated. Another option would be to lobby for the resources and begin the clean up with the residents consent, otherwise without their consent. Evacuating people is a major stake bearing in mind that people once they find a comfort they would live by it. So getting families together with the children is inhuman and would be more devastating to the individuals. Starting clean up without resident consent sounds appealing yet it is so literal. Such a massive project cannot occur without the public knowing that is in the kitchen, but after all the residents did not see any danger so not informing or informing is all but the same.
