A Revision of Design Methods for the Context Aware Web Applications Student’s Name Institutional Affiliation Date A Revision of Design Methods for the Context Aware Web Applications The field of information and Technology has experienced vast changes and evolution as the years have gone by in the recent past. Consequently the World Wide Web has not been left behind and has evolved from being a hypertext form of media to become a multichannel full-fledged and multi-service delivery area. With this there has been a massive shift that has led from the change in direction from the straightforward and static websites to the web applications that are data intensive and consumers need for them to be context aware. With this changes in the web applications there is the demand for the modification in the development of these applications to enable them to cope with the increasing requirements of the users looking out for adaption in the applications include adaptability the user profile flexibility model paradigm context awareness and tool support. The building of context aware services that are in a way realistic and those that allow the context toolkits to support the mediation between the user and the system. Due to this it should be noted that the design process of the mediation is particularly different from that of GUI domain. The main reason for this again is the mediation is distributed all along in both the space and the time. References Dey A. & Mankoff J. (2005).
