Through the movie love theme is evident in many parts. McClane for instance risks his life for the love of his wife. In another case Holly shows the aspect of love by standing against terrorists. McClane is a key figure in the movie where he participates in various activities that reflect his character as well as brings out major themes. His understanding of weaponry is instrumental in playing the violent scenes. We also see him taking drugs to reflect his masculine character. The character's male nature is revealed by wisecracking. As such we observe a great relationship between masculinity and violence in the movie. Another notable point is that McClane intends to become a real family man. He is brave and creation of the film. John McClane is represented as an emotional male. It is notable that the movie has aided in transforming the action movies. It helps in eliminating the notion that men are not emotional. Die Hard has equal parts a perfect representation of persuasive engaging and transformative by using the communicative components of narrative 3 act structure different viewpoints and editing. The characters acquired by the actors are significant in making the film appealing.
