The functionality of the system should be highly considered before implementing it. When there is a highly operational HRIS system it means that the company will be in a position to evaluate the performance of the workers in terms of their respective positions and the company can as well make quick replacement in case one of the employees moves out of the company. This system enhances the privacy of all the employees because data is usually kept in an accurate manner and it can only be accessed by the authorized people. In this regard, the system should be equipped with various security measures like passwords as well as procedures that are used to manage changes should only be altered only when there is a need to do so.

An e-Recruitment is basically a system which is used by the organization to ease the processes of recruitment by using the data from the HRIS and recruitment process. This is usually done after the collection of vital information from the applicants. E—Selection is usually carried out through two steps. These steps involve the pre-selection as well as the final decision that entails screening of all the applicants. It is the most effective and the most time-saving strategy because the resumes of the applicants that lack the right words are automatically excluded. However, this strategy can sometimes be ineffective because some of the applicants who understand how the system operates might cheat that they possess the requisite qualifications. The process standardization is now possible and the efficiency is increased because there are well-streamlined processes that in one way or the other enhances communications and also increases the ability to engage whenever there is complexity when it comes to reporting writing.

However, self-service has over the years faced various problems like limited choices on the part of the employees and the information of the employees is not well secured. The biggest threat of the employees' information is when it is under the threat of being accessed by the unauthorized people and as a result making that information being under the threat of being destroyed (Obeidat, 2012). In this regard, before implementing the HRIS system, a thorough research should be performed on the ESS program and then put in place strategies that will ensure security as well as the confidentiality of the employees' information. Training involves providing the required information as well as knowledge to a trainee and he or she is usually instructed while at the same time learning and this increases his or her skills and abilities that can be used in various ways.

The HR department is still undergoing evolution process and which are bringing about a lot of changes on how to handle issues related to the employees. The results of interfering with worker's rights are nowadays tougher and this is making the HRIS undergo a lot of changes. In this regard, the HRIS will undergo more changes in the near future in order to accommodate these changes. In the past, most of the workers were less educated but nowadays workers are more educated and as a result, they understand their rights. Nowadays, the governments have set various standards and regulations and the employers are supposed to comply. In this , all the stakeholders should work together in order to achieve the set objectives.
