Although Apple has had an upper hand for a long time, it is not that Windows is ugly as an operating system, only that MacOS just looks nicer. Things including launching programs, changing between desktops and notification checking are more stylish and elegant while using macOS (Nield, n. p)). On the side of windows, it is more functional and utilitarian. Although the choices it provides are appealing to the eye, not everything on it is right in terms of design. In terms of cloud offerings, the two are even as though iCloud looks slicker, OneDrive has more functionality and can work on more devices. Although the attempts by Microsoft to make Windows 10 function on many devices has caused some rough edges, it has made windows better than MacOS because windows is available on a wide range of hardware and is easily adaptable to stylus and tablet.
