These studies include: According to a study by Shareef Abdulla Kaddas Al-Romaithi on the impacts that cross-culture has on the lives and performance of pilots in the Middle East, the region has been expanding its airlines and as such creating job opportunities for various pilots from other areas across the globe. This is due to their inadequate supply of well-trained pilots. However, it being a benefit to the pilots its devastating to their social lives and as such affects their performance. This source will be used in the research to ensure its completion. A study by Arabian Business, the Middle East needed over sixty three thousand pilots to meet the demands of the large numbers of passengers in the countries. It will be used to articulate the issues and challenges that pilots face in the Middle East.

Among the benefits is that, the pay is good while the challenge is that one would be away from friends and family. It might also affect their culture and religion.
