I agree with the author that grounded theory play a vital role in explaining a process, which appears complicated. In this regard, it is apparent that not all the available theories can explain the certain complex processes. For example, grounded theory can explain an aspect in the educational populations like assessing the children with attention diseases (Creswell 423). In addition, grounded theory can also explain an existing phenomenon like why how students become writers at one point in age. The history of Grounded Theory traces back in 1960s when Barney and Anselm came up with a concept to explain certain complex concepts in the society. It involves the processes and procedures, which lead to the provision of the information of a particular phenomenon.

In the first step of open coding, the theorists select the theories, which are related to a specific aspect. Some of the methods used by the theorists to gather data include interviews, observations and taking the notes. The information received from the respondents help the researcher to make conclusions regarding the findings. For example, a researcher who intends to find out the challenges facing students with disability will carry out interviews and use the information from the victims to make recommendations (Creswell 450). I agree with the authors that most of the students in the colleges and students who seek counselling face sexual abuse. Notably, those who suffer from sexual abuse are minors. However, some affected children do not seek interventions because of the physical and psychological symptoms, which surround sexual abuse.

The victims undergo confusing treatment methods, which do not encourage the people who have been sexually harassed to accept and report to the local authorities. Therefore, there is a need to understand and analyze the effects of childhood sexual abuse in the society to encourage people to seek the necessary interventions. According to the research, it is important to accept the experiences of the affected people to come up with the models, which help others, recover. It is notable that there is a need to come up with a specific way of identifying the women who were sexually harassed at their tender age. For instance, I agree that qualitative research is relevant in helping to gather accurate information from the affected people.
