Looking keenly at the descriptions of the numerous ideas and facts besides positions made on libertarianism, compatibilism and hard-determinism one will get the descriptions of people’s life experiences. He or she will analyze and describe what determinism, liberty, morality and free will is according to his or her understanding. Once you revisit life experience, will get reasonable and valid answers. From my point of view, libertarianism is the best theory which can explain the true and facts about the nature of the moral responsibility and eventually analyze how it relates to determinism and human free will. Individuals, background will in one way or the other determine the choices you make in life. Moreover, incompatibility of determinism and freedom is still demonstrated by Locke’s analogy whereby he analyzes about a locked room, in which he talks about a gentleman sleeping in a locked room.

Once he wakes up he just decides to stay inside the room. According to this analogy, although the gentleman believes that he is using his freedom to make the decision of staying in the room, he cannot do otherwise since the room is already locked. The fact is that true free will is more than feeling free. Therefore, my position is that people must be able to act on their choices and deeds in life. This example reinforces the fact that hard determinism, free will and individuals more are incompatible. On contrary opinion, Libertarianism argument is that free will and moral responsibilities are compatible. This is according to Kant, who assumes that the society is bounded to free will with reasoning rationally.

In fact, people are free and thus are morally responsible to their actions. In addition, Kant states that, “free will is an important pre-condition for morals of the people’s actions in the society. Most of compatibilists argue this, though in real sense individual’s deeds and moral responsibilities are determined by his or her genes, background or education. For instance, according to Hume, people’s choices, desires and actions are all linked up (Hume, David, pg 226). Therefore, people may act in line with their freedom, and may be did not originate their actions. This means that the society is not that free and don’t have total moral responsibilities to actions in life. In conclusion, libertarianism gives a clear picture of the ideas of freedom, determinism and moral responsibilities in the society more than the other theories.
