The American president is the one that heads the government and state. He directs the branch of the executive of the federal government. He is the commander-in chief of the armed force. The American president controls the most expensive military that is regarded as the second largest nuclear arsenal. Donald Trump assumes all the mentioned duties as the president of the United States of America. American constitution vests a lot on the president, including the executive power. The constitution allows the president to grow, considering societal and the Worlds' changes, into gargantuan institution. The presidents' control over the federal law enforcement, establishment of national security and the bully pulpit has enabled the office to become the dominant force in the government of America endangering the constitutional liberties (Toumey 934).

The flexible structure of the office has enabled trump to greatly interfere with American orders as it is largely defined by the person holding it, her or his competence, leadership skills and character. Trumps’ predecessors’ exercised power wisely helps the nation come out of crisis. Trump has acted more like Nixon in the case of Russia. He has pressured his law-enforcement and senior intelligence officer to clear his name and even fired the original investigator, James Comey, an FBI Director. He has publicly attacked almost everyone concerned with his cases and those who investigate him. The advantage part of it is that every institution has always stood firm. He has always been criticizing Sessions' and Mueller's duties and roles in the Russian investigation.
