According to the research, Zara relying on outsourcing production, with downward regard on labor working condition manifested, such as job insecurity, poverty wages, long working hours and so forth (Gregoratti and Miller 2011). In this age of rapid economic growth and business competitiveness, global production are widespread among the international trade (Plank, Straritz and Lukas 2009). No doubt, most of the organization and company are strong focus on increasing their revenue, yet omitting their corporate social responsibility and business ethics (Lee, Seifert and Cherrier 2017). Ethics is an essential approach in public relation as organization and business subsist to increase their reputation and competitive advantage. The shareholders of Inditex are primary stakeholders in that they are the owners of Zara. They finance it and through the CEO they make decisions regarding the day to day operations of Zara. They provide the capital that Zara uses to manufacture, employ and market the brand. They are the most affected as they actually make the profits from Zara. Billionaire Amancio Ortega is the single largest individual shareholder of Inditex (Zara’s parent company) as of 2017 (1. The company has been cooperating with ILO on various projects like the SCORE project (Young, "Hiding pleas for workers,"). Introducing the hardship funds as an allowance is a step in the positive direction. The company’s biggest move in the Public relations sector however, has been in using its founder’s social media twitter accounts in assuring its employees and the consumers that the issues are being addressed and the company’s committed to righting these issues.

Ethical Considerations Zara has been accused previously of environmental pollution (Tansy Hoskins, June 13, 2017), ripping off young designers (Michal Addady, July 20, 2016,), not paying its workers and ignoring poor conditions in its factories. This is not to mention both child and slave labor, in addition to exploiting Syrian refugees as young as fifteen. Project (Young, 2017). These have refuted some of the claims, while reinforcing that they are working with various labor organizations. Most recently it has said that these employees were employed by a third party manufacturer who has disappeared. Revealing details on the structure of the company and who’s responsible for what would benefit the company as should there be a fault, the company would not be affected as a whole, and rather the said people in charge would be considered responsible. Say if designs were ripped off and Zara had made it clear that a team was responsible for the designs it uses, then the team would be accused leaving Zara in the clear. Partnering with various public groups. By partnering with various bodies I charge of different sectors would help the company. Say they partnered with UNEP and then the issues arising from environmental pollution would reduce. Ethical issues are integral to a company since it exists among people who value ethics.
