In the healthcare centers, it is administered through dermal sprays, lozenges and can also be given in form of capsules. Many countries across the world have legalized the use of medical marijuana; Israel, Germany, Greece, Australia, and Colombia to mention but a few. In the United States of America, there are about 29 states that have made the use of medical marijuana legal. Although it is still not legalized nationwide, it is time for the rest of the country to benefit from the incredible profit that comes with the legalization of medical marijuana. Legalization of medical marijuana would benefit our country in many ways. Colorado, before the legalization, according to the American Journal of Public Health had a high number of opiate overdose deaths but saw a tremendous reduction of 9-13% in the number of deaths and suicidal attempts.

The journal further reveals that Colorado State had better statistics about how the recreational use of medical marijuana has been beneficial to its people than in any other state in America, urging the federal government to do the same in those other states. The use of medical marijuana in low doses is said to have saved the lives of so many children across the world. There are just so many reasons why the use of medical marijuana should be legalized. By all these, one understands why medical marijuana is still illegal under the federal law.
