This caused a mess all over the country and panic, fear and insecurity became odd of the 100 days genocide happened. Many people were killed and injured and thus this caught the attention of the world as the quickest and fastest killings in the world. The shooting of the then Rwandan President, Habyarimana ended the peace cords between the Hutu and Tutsi people. Jewish Holocaust, on the other hand, refers to the mass killing of over 6 million Jews by the German Nazi regime. It was a horrific experience where European Jews were killed and sent away from Germany. Property belonging to the Tutsi was destroyed and stolen. Tutsi people were highly blamed for the assassination of the Rwandan president then. Upon the spread of news of president’s death terror dawned and many people were slaughtered and killed.

An approximation of 800,000 Rwandans had been murdered in cold blood within first six weeks of terror. According to ( Gerard, 2014) he estimates that this rate of killing was five times higher than during the Holocaust of Nazi, Germany since this was a high rate of death within 6 weeks. Thus for the genocide attacks to reduce,(Claude, 2012) the US-based Human Rights Activists says, educating the communities about genocide issues will help create awareness and work towards better solutions on genocide acts During the genocide attacks, many people fled Rwanda to other countries for safety. Although others were killed and died on their way, survivors made it to the neighboring countries. (Claude, 2012), a survivor of the genocide attack based in the US states that the terror caused loss of many family, friends, and relatives.
