Student Instructor Course Date Analyzing The Rising by Bruce Springsteen On the morning of September 11 the year 2001 the United States witnessed attacks on the twin towers were four passenger planes crashed into the twin towers. These attacks killed around 2 996 people and injured over 6 000. Hence the September 11 attacks are also referred to as the 9/11 attacks (Birkenstein et al 101). These attacks were a series of well harmonized terrorist attacks by the Islamic terrorist group called the al-Qaeda. However after the September 11 attacks the feeling of suspicion was felt in the country increased government efforts to tackle terrorism gave more sense of hope faith and salvation for the future whereas others felt lost and wanted revenge (Birkenstein et al 121). In the year 2002 an American recording artist called Bruce Springsteen released an album called The Rising. It was his first album release they had more focus on their families and they spent more time with them most Americans expressed patriotism more and finally there was an increase in church attendance. The other cultural response was that the radio industries played individual songs that were used in remembrance of the attack and the themes were also used in television series and literature (Spigel 102). In conclusion after the 9/11 attacks the culture of America has responded by improving security and also anxiety and paranoia among the community with regards to future attacks.
