Introduction One of the driving forces in global market competition is enhancement of educational accountability among various countries all over the world. For this reason professional guidelines are being developed today to improve the curriculum standard in mathematics and science subjects. Educators in United States and United Kingdom have adopted some of the interdisciplinary approaches to develop their national educational curriculum. Considering the content structure the relationship between the two disciplines seems asymmetric. There is a notion among the educators that teachers who choose to avoid mathematics end up calling for assistance from the mathematics teachers. On the other hand mathematics teachers can do well without the science subject. Thus there is this argument that mathematics is paramount when it comes to used in my case is response for 20 students. The accuracy of the data can be increased by increasing the sample size. In addition there are other methords that can be used to come up with a more valid data. For instance t-test can be more appropriate that test using the correlation analysis. The disadvantage of this methord is that the respondents may give wrong information. Although the correlation coefficient indicated a strong relationship between the performance of mathematics and the social science this is not clearly seen in the graph. For instance a student who scored 43% in mathematics scored 67% in biological sciences. This is contrary to the findings from scholars that the students that performs better in mathematics performs better. Although this shows a weakness in the research there is a concrete prove that mathematics has an impact on the performance of physical and chemical sciences. [...]
