Parents have a responsibility of guiding children from early childhood to their adulthood. Each of the stages is indeed challenging. However, most importantly the early childhood should be given more attention as it is the basis; the determinant of other stages of life. This paper, therefore, addresses such relevant topics in child development as mistaken behavior, aggression and challenging behavior. Mistaken behavior Mistaken behavior or misbehavior refers to improper or immoral behavior by the children. Such teachers may not be able to balance classroom attention with their psychological issues. They end up intimidating the learners and reflecting their stress on them. Such learners may too pose the bad traits of their teacher. For survival, it is crucial that teachers check their reactions in class not to end up shaping mistaken behavior to their learners.

What mistaken behavior among children also has at some levels is related to the parents. To him, motherly love is crucial in helping the child to develop love gratification. There are five anxiety stages that studies describe the attachment of a child to the mother. If the child does not get the so wanted motherly love, then it is going to portray misbehavior in school. The further explanation says that a child will develop the harmful behavior as a safety measure. Therefore it comes unconsciously. According to Harlow, children develop aggression for such reasons as survival, adjustment or encounter. Some children live with much violence, thus are subjected to aggression through the encounter. Some cultural orientation exposes the children to rough encounters.

For instance, bullying and mistreatment of specific genders in some communities make the children of specific gender to develop a sort of aggression. Some cultures have generally accepted temper tantrums. Children with these disorders are very malicious, and parents should seek treatment as quickly as aggression appears (Gore & Umizawa, 2011) As seen earlier, aggression can come as compensation or adjustment to an individual situation among children. Children with some defects such as problems in communication or cognition impairment tend to display much aggression. It means that when these children have no other way of dealing with their anxiety and frustration, bearing in mind, they cannot verbally express themselves. Their next reaction becomes developing aggression. Parents have therefore to understand the level of their children to make sound judgments.

It is crucial to understanding the challenging behavior. It is wrong for parents to assume that kids know what they are expected to do. They should be ready to guide them accordingly. The parents should guide the children against this unbecoming behavior through face-to-face interaction. Parents should yell out whenever a child makes some mistakes persistently. Further on the encounter, parents should let the kids make choices. Let them their decision count in any programmed. For instance, asking them, “ do you want to go to town or the movies?” such a question makes kids feel that their decision is sort and will eliminate any challenging behavior. In conclusion, the behavior of kids should be understood by the parents. Therefore, any uninformed judgments will be discriminated.
