According to Singh (2016), big data can be advantageous to a big organization, producing as much as $4. 5 for every dollar capitalized in the project; nonetheless, privacy and ethical concerns are some of the disadvantages or limitation of big data projects as well as poor reliability of information and the shortage of importance to the organizations. Big data is attributed to numerous aspects which take into account its variety, volume, value, and velocity. Big data should first be processed and examined by organizations which seek to benefit from such information with the aim to decide the veracity and value of information. However, variety, volume, and velocity define the degree of information being accumulated, the kind of information being acquired, and the speed of the data being produced.

C is a big data project that is community-centered information site that aims to cover every murder in the locality. The project is sorted by victim and suspect profiles, where it simplifies each person's age, name, gender, race, and also original articles reported by Homicide Watch department. Moreover, the interactive map on the site acknowledges each violent crime in the region along with the known information regarding the offense (Hussain & Roy, 2016). The acquisition of the data is more analog than digital. The organization collects crime information from police reports and departments then they manually put them into the website’s backend.
