The project is sorted by victim and suspect profiles, where it simplifies each person's age, name, gender, race, and also original articles reported by Homicide Watch department. Moreover, the interactive map on the site acknowledges each violent crime in the region along with the known information regarding the offense (Hussain & Roy, 2016). The acquisition of the data is more analog than digital. The organization collects crime information from police reports and departments then they manually put them into the website’s backend.
