Arts made using new media technologies comprise the contemporary art genres. Media serves as a means of communicating art. They extend the ability of human beings to create, duplicate, transmit and store information transmitted across time and space. The media influences public opinion, perceptions, and attitudes toward a given subject. Media arts have risen as a contemporary art provide people with the information needed to make choices and develop attitudes ranging from people’ perception of art to the kind of art they interact with. Human beings are visual species which when they see, they become what they see and build what they see. Thus, by visualizing art, they become art and imagine art. That is the effect of media arts on consciousness.
