Water is life and the body of a human being is made up with 60% water though we do need to access to fresh and clean water to drink so as to survive and remove out the waste products in our bodies. Although the world population has overgrown, the amount of the fresh water in the world has remained constant. The consumption of water has raised twice the rate of population growth in last years. Nowadays, around 700 million people worldwide suffer from lack of water and the number is anticipated to rise to 1. 8 billion in 12 years to come. The method has a safety net especially where drought condition has persisted such as California region and access to fresh water is limited (Tanaka, & Ho, 2011).

Therefore, the only way the method of desalination can become a good and perfect option to solve the problem of scarcity of water is by; using renewable sources, lowering the costs and protect the environment, especially in marine life. The desalination technique produces a waste product that is composed of salt that is found in the chemical in the process and seawater (Wichelns, & Nakao, 2007). The methods used to dispose of the concentrate are; dumping the concentrate back to ocean, adding it into the unfathomable subversive wells, storing to over head the evaporation ground ponds and using other discharge procedures.
