Contrary to extroverts introverts tend to be more timid shy reserved quiet and distant from other individuals (Ajzen 2007). The famous Myers-Briggs Personality Indicator has frequently been used in documenting the differences between extroverts and introverts. Little attention has been given to introvert individuals until recently when the book Quiet was published in 2012. Introverts have been studied mostly focusing on adult and college population and mostly leaves out high school level and elementary-age students despite the fact that such individuals face unique challenges of introversion.
